Thank you for your interest in becoming a valued Blue Ridge Rescue Barn volunteer! Your hands-on assistance plays a crucial role in our mission to create a sanctuary prioritizing the emotional and physical well-being of farm animals. Engage in various volunteer activities including animal care, farm chores, tour guides, events, and more.
Please take note of our volunteer guidelines:
All volunteers must complete an application.
Volunteers under 14 years old need adult accompaniment.
We offer both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities.
Adherence to barn and facility rules is mandatory.
Volunteering involves physical activity; contact us with any concerns or restrictions.

All volunteers are asked to commit to a once a week shift for at least 3 months. Alternatively, we have many workdays throughout the year and welcome one-time volunteers to sign up for those!
